Meat Lovers Tortellini Skillet

This Meat Lovers Tortellini Skillet is a hearty and tasty pasta dish with a creamy tomato sauce, Italian sausage, and tortellini made with cheese. Its easy to make and quick, so its great for dinner during the week

Ingredients:

• 1 lb ground Italian sausage
• 1 lb cheese tortellini
• 1 cup chopped onion
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 can 14
• 5 oz diced tomatoes
• 1 cup beef broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Over medium-low heat, break up the Italian sausage into crumbles in a large skillet

Cook until it turns brown

Get rid of extra fat

Cut up the onion and garlic and add them to the pan

Cook the onion until its soft and clear

Add the beef broth and diced tomatoes and mix well

Bring to a low boil

Put the cheese tortellini in the pan

Put the lid on and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the tortellini is soft

Add the heavy cream and mix it in slowly

Let it cook for another two to three minutes

Add mozzarella cheese shreds and Parmesan cheese grated on top

Put the lid on top and wait for the cheese to melt

Add pepper and salt to taste

Before serving, sprinkle with fresh basil leaves
