These Paleo shrimp balls are inspired by the flavors of traditional Har Gow dumplings. Theyre packed with fresh shrimp and aromatic seasonings, making them a flavorful and satisfying Paleo-friendly appetizer or snack.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
- Coconut oil, for frying
Instructions:
In a food processor, pulse the shrimp until finely chopped
Transfer the chopped shrimp to a bowl and add green onions, garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, sesame oil, salt, black pepper, and arrowroot powder
Mix until well combined
Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter
Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat
Fry the shrimp balls in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy them plain
