Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
On both sides, season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper
Fill a small dish with water and mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper together
First, coat each chicken thigh in buttermilk
Then, coat it evenly in the flour mixture
Put the vegetable oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat
Be careful when you put the chicken thighs in the hot oil, skin side down
For about 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked all the way through, the food should reach 165F 75C on the inside
Before putting the chicken on a paper towel-lined plate to drain, take it out of the pan
Enjoy while hot
